If you're like me, you love Matt, Stephanie, and Bailey Clark. They have had a huge impact on my life and I'm guessing yours too.
Now it's time for us to give back because they really need our help.
On July 19, 2017 doctors detected a tumor on Stephanie's colon. After testing it was discovered to be stage 3 cancer. A day or so later she had surgery to remove the tumor, along with a portion of her colon.
Things looked positive until Stephanie's conditioned worsened early Sunday morning. Mysteriously, her levels crashed and she was rushed into emergency surgery around 4am. Her small intestines had twisted, causing kidney failure. Her organs were shutting down.
But...GOD IS SO GOOD!
Thankfully, and because of your prayers, she has been improving slowly, but steadily since this final surgery. She has a long road ahead to fully recover, which includes physical therapy as well as chemotherapy.
Oh, and did I mention that Matt had been hospitalized earlier this year due to kidney stones? It has been a challenging year for our friends the Clarks.
The money that is collected for Clarks will be used to pay the deductible on their hospital bills (they have MediShare, which kicks in fully once the baseline deductible is met). The support will also go to help them catch up on some bills that were accumulated during Matt's hospitalization (he was unable to work for a while). Lastly, funds will also be used to make some long-overdue repairs to the walls in Stephanie & Matt's bedroom. Deterioration has led to a mold problem which is far from conducive to Stephanie's recovery in the coming months.
