Family in need, please help! Thanks

Donation protected
***PLEASE Read the updates*****  I have removed the part of this campaign about buying for the family for Christmas.   Thanks to all you donors the family had probably the best Christmas ever.   I was there to witness the excitement.   Now on to the bigger problems.

As I mentioned in the original post there are issues with  the home of this family needing major work (this family also took in a young homeless mother with three children under 5yo.)  There are thirteeen (sometimes 14) people living in this 2000sq ft double wide trailer.   Three adults,  and 11 children.

I have been given premission to tell you about why they have gotten into such a predicamant.  I didn't tell a lot about their business on the first post due to their privacy.    They have a teenage son with a brain tumor.   He has had most of it removed two different times,  because it grew back after the first surgery!   It's growing around  the brain stem and they can only remove parts of it. They can't get to all of it in fear of paralyzing him.    He has lost some of his vision and some of his learning abilities.   It's been 2 years and there has been no more growth,  so according to his doctor that's a good sign.  The family was left with a $230,000.00 hospital bill with no insurance.   They tried to get emergency medicaid but it didn't happen in time to cover the bills.

The father also missed lots of work without pay.   He is also the only source of income.   This has put a huge hardship on the family trying to stay afloat.

They bought their home from a foreclosure sale.   It needed a lot of work then.  That was 12 years ago.   They have not been able to fix or repair anything for the past 12 years.   The carpet needs to be removed.  There are holes in the floor,  only a handful of the outlets work in the house, including overhead lighting.   They came and got 7 table lamps from my retail store (donation from me) so they could have some lights.   Many of these are being powered by extension cords ran from other rooms.   The dishwasher broke years ago (14 people you need a dishwasher), their washer just broke, the exhaust fan and light above the stove does not work,  Only one shower is funtional in the house and it's leaking and  rotting out the floor.   The floor is already gone under the garden tub and so are the faucets.   A tree feel on part of the roof and they have a bad leak in the bathroom as well.   In another bathroom ceiling is falling in and has a trash bag tacked up over it to keep it up.   A tree damaged the roof on this end of the house too.    The sink is not functional in this bathroom either and the floor is rotten.  Their septic tank has plumbing issues (probably needs empting).   Their HVAC is old and they have to use expensive  window units to help cool the home.   All their furniture needs to be replaced since it's way past it's life span.   There are windows broken with duct tape holding them together, the kitchen counters are  falling apart and so is the kitchen floor.   There are holes in the walls in various places from water damage.  There is also foundation issues with the home as well.   The back wall of the block underpinning is collapsing as well.     The home needs to be gutted and redone, or replaced.   I hope I can find some organizations to help if I don't raise enough money.    I am posting this at 4:30am so excuse my errors since gofundme does not have spell check!!!!.  Will probably add more later.   PLease share!
