Helping dogs in Peru

Hi everyone especially animal lovers:
My name is Johanes. I live in Los Angeles, CA. Recently I went to Peru and visited this beautiful country in South America. I'm very shocked to see many animals especially dogs were abandon on the street. My heart goes to all of them, they were stranded on the street scavenging food from trash plastic on the street. Since then, I'm commited to them and I wanted to help out whatever I can, this is a fresh start for me, and I hope it will work out.
My first step: I would like to help and donate a foundation that I've done a research online. Any donation would be greatful and all donation money will be donated to http://worldvets.org/. I will provide update and receipt of proof of donation. I will match your donation up to $1,500.00 - this money will be coming from my partner :) in exchange of a birthday dinner party for me next month.
On July 25th 2017, I will be turning 36! I wanted to do something good for animals, I wanted to help out whatever I can, therefore I have asked my partner to skip a birthday party that he usually throw for me every year and donate to http://worldvets.org/2017/06/a-record-breaking-success-cusco-peru/
I could not sleep well since I got back to United States thinking of those poor dogs are hungry and living on the street with no shelter, food or water. If some dogs live in the city, they may have some food and water from people on the street but I believe it's not adequate.
I also would like to help and voluntter by educating local people in Peru that they need to spay and neuter their dogs. This is will be my second steps :) I hope I can do it and I can make it!
I know this is a long shot, but I thought I should give it a try. Thank you in advance for all your help. I hope you can help me to make this happen and we can help all dogs in Peru and make a better living for them.
