A Helping Hand for Holly Payne

"It's so overwhelming to not be able to just put your life back together..."

 This is just one of the heartbreaking messages I have been able to receive from one of my best friends, Holly. Holly lives and worked on the east side of St Thomas.  Although they are still alive, Hurricane Irma took that life away from her and many of her friends.  And now, Hurricane Maria is set to add "insult to injury".  (In this case more injury and destruction to St. Thomas) To say that people there are in survival mode is putting it lightly.

 "We are going back to bunker mode... we still have some provisions and we are providing those for lots of our friends who are over the top grateful..."

 Ever used the saying "they would give you the shirt off their back" to describe one of your friends?  Well, that is my friend Holly and I know that there are many out there that Holly's generosity touched over the years.  She paid it forward many, many times and even in the destruction and the suffering, she is still the first to lend a hand.

We are asking you, our friends & family, to help us help her now. Holly & her island family need help to rebuild their lives, which may even include relocating temporarily.  

 Please, anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated and please pray for their safety during this next Hurricane, Maria.
