Helping Aria

As most of you know, our daughter Aria recently spent a week down at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) for focal cortical dysplasia induced seizures. Because of this , I missed an entire week of work. Now this may not seem too significant, but Lauren also is on unpaid maternity leave until Jan 8 2014 (has been on leave since 10/25/13). So we already knew we were going to be struggling a bit. Currently we have looked in to every option available. Unfortunately to the state even with Lauren not working, she still shows as making too much to receive most assistance programs as do I. That being said, Ian missing a full week of work because of the hospitalization of Aria has hit us hard. Very hard. We are struggling to come up with the money for rent for January and are facing $150 late charges if not paid fully. which would cascade in to February's rent payment as well. Along with PECO and car payments, all of our bills are past due, and it's becoming increasingly hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Needless to say there will be no Christmas this year for Aria or us, but at least she won't remember that. I, Ian, created this because a friend suggested i should. I feel embarrassed as anyone would asking for help. But I am at the end of the rope and looking for some hope in my friends, family and anyone else, looking to help us out. I have had to push my pride aside and face the facts that I need to ask for help. What we are looking for is to maybe raise enough money to alleviate the stress of buying food and other essentials to pay rent, or raise enough to help pay our rent for January. In honest our rent is $995 per month. After next pay, and after bills that need to be paid are paid we just have nothing for rent. I cant say thank you enough for those who help us out only that I will be eternally grateful and will pass it forward or return the favor in the future.
