Hi,
My name is Rick Estey. I am the eldest son of Althea Estey, (a talented and accomplished artist) and I love my mother dearly. Unfortunately, my mom has recently been injured and is paralyzed below the neck. Her condition is called incomplete quadriplegia. Meaning she has minor motor control over one arm.
Because of this situation she will require expensive specialized equipment at home when she is finally released from medical care. This equipment will include a special bed similar to those found in hospitals, a hydraulic-lift, a motorized wheelchair and much more. We will also have to do some major modifications to her home to accommodate her needs including a wheelchair ramp.
This undertaking is very expensive and not covered by medicare. While my family is rallying together and pooling together funds, we desperately need help. Please give anything you can. Thank you so very much for your generosity.
100% of all monies collected will be used for medical equipment and care expenses.
