<div>Since our GoFundMe drive one year ago, you have collectively donated over a hundred thousand dollars to a cause that holds immense significance for us: the compassionate and resilient people of Cape Verde Island, where I spent my formative years until the age of thirteen. Following Cape Verde's independence in 1975, progress has been slow, and many inhabitants struggle to survive on less than $2 per day. The healthcare system is virtually non-existent, leading to many preventable deaths.

<div>With the unwavering support of my son Anthony and his extensive social media network, I have made the heartfelt decision to dedicate my life to aiding these remarkable individuals who played an instrumental role in shaping the person and father I am today.

<div>I extend a sincere invitation to anyone willing to contribute, not only financially but also with their expertise in various fields, to join us in this noble endeavor. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of the wonderful people of Cape Verde Island.
