At 16, I had to sell my beloved horse, Beau, due to my parents' divorce and financial situation. At 34, I scoured the internet and finally found him living in New Mexico and brought him back to live his last years with me. In January, we were reunited and have been having the most blissful and lovely time together.

On May 19, Beau suffered a stroke that compromised the function in his back legs. I found him covered in sweat, disoriented, and struggling to stand and walk. The vet gave us a 50/50 shot at whether he would have to be put down or he would recover. After only 4 months being reunited with him, this was devastating to hear. He is such a healthy, energetic, full of life horse and to see him so compromised has been awful. It's crucial that we get him the care he needs so that his story doesn't end this way. I want his last years to be healthy, carefree, and using his body in the way God intended. The therapies and care he will need to be able to fully recover are not financially possible for us right now, so we are asking those who have been touched by his story to donate what they can so we can keep this magical guy alive and thriving as long as we can.

Funds will be used to buy a PEMF horse blanket to help heal his nervous system and spine ($5,500) And for physical therapy, acupuncture, and chiropractic appointments over the next several months.
