Please help us raise funds to help
the Lykes
family with
medical expenses for 4 month old, Jax.
Since birth, Jax has had his fair share of obstacles.
At 1 month old, he was bleeding internally and was diagnosed with a protein allergy causing him to be put on an expensive specialized formula, which unfortunately is not covered by insurance and costing the family $1000+ a month. While dealing with that, he is also battling a constant thrush infection which now have doctors concerned. Fortunately, after 2 rounds of blood work they have ruled out Leukemia and Cancer but are still unsure whats wrong and continuing tests, hoping to find some answers. Due to a high white blood cell count and low SEG levels, doctors have advised his Mom & Dad to keep him quarantined until they figure out a diagnosis. This makes life challenging as Tricia & Tom also have a 4 year old son.
Additionally, Jax needs Cranial Orthotic therapy (headgear) to correct a flat spot on the back of his head. Unfortunately they don't have great insurance and are struggling to keep up with all the medical expenses. Their portion, for just the headgear alone, is $1,700 & they have to start making payments for it by Nov 25th.
Please join us as we raise funds to help Tom, Tricia, big brother Connor (age 4) and baby Jax. It's hard enough to have a sick child but to then have to worry about how to come up with the money to get help for your child just adds a whole new level of stress.
We will be hosting a fundraiser a second fundraiser at Lamppost Pizza in Santa Clarita on December 13th and 14th to help raise money for the Lykes family. Mention Jax when you pay and Lamppost has generously offered to donate 20% of every order to the Lykes family! We were able to raise $400 at our first fundraiser and hope to double it with this next one!!
