Help Wendy Be With Family

Wendy will be receiving a very difficult phone call within the next days or very few weeks. She will then need to take a last minute flight to Minnesota to attend services and be with family.
In December 2015, Wendy's little brother, Scott Wallace, was diagnosed with stage three Spindle Cell Bone Sarcoma, an extremely rare type of cancer. He has been fighting hard, but sadly is now in comfort care, which is the part of medical care provided at the end of life.
Last minute flights are very expensive, especially around the holidays, and she will need help to make this very important travel happen. Wendy recently traveled home to say goodbye to her brother, and is still in debt from that trip. Wendy has asked that her partner attend this upcoming trip with her for support. They are of course employed, but live paycheck to paycheck without emergency funds. Help getting to Minnesota during this painful and difficult time would be deeply appreciated.
I tried keep this estimate low and only took into account travel/transportation, shelter and minimal groceries. This fund raiser does not include gas (this is a rural area and lots of driving will be required) or lost income from turning off the Etsy store and missed work (all days off are not covered by PTO.) It also does not include fees that GoFundMe takes.
Last minute round trip plane tickets from Seattle to Fargo, ND (estimate varies widely due to holidays and depends on dates): $850 per person = $1700
Car rental to drive from Fargo, ND to Euclid, MN and to other locations for a week, possibly including Minneapolis: (Estimate again varies widely due to holidays and depends on dates) $216
Hotel in Crookston, MN, 7 days: $68 per day for approximately 7 days = $476
Groceries, one week, 2 ppl, somewhat taking into account a lack of ability to cook easily and severe food restrictions due to Celiac: $10 per person per day = $20 per day x 7 = $140
Anything extra, for instance if cheaper flights are procured or if the goal is exceeded, will go toward gas and recovering the precise missed hours of work, each hour of which is needed to pay rent. We would list those exact hours here. Anything beyond that will be donated to Scott's wife and children.
