Support for Eddie and Frances

We met Eddie and Frances Willis in 2009 while living nearly 700 miles away from our family and friends. Throughout our early years of marriage Eddie and Frances provided us love, support, mentorship, and what all young married couples need: Grace! Over the past nine years we have witnessed Eddie and Frances selflessly serve people with genuine care and compassion. Their ministry has stretched across Charleston, SC to Atlanta, GA. Currently, Eddie and Frances minister to their precious congregation in Gaffney, SC.
On March 12, Eddie had unexpected open heart surgery. Unfortunately, he went into lung failure after the operation. The doctors still cannot explain the cause of this event, but labor on in an effort to get Eddie’s lungs to work again. Eddie was placed on a ventilator and put on a feeding tube. Eddie is still relying on the ventilator to breath for him. Eddie has shown improvement in the last couple of days, but still has a long road of recovery ahead.
While our sweet friend Eddie recovers, Mrs. Frances remains with him at the hospital. Since her attention must be focused on coordinating with the doctors to care for Eddie, she is not working at this time. We are setting a goal of $5,000 to show a bit of the same love, support, and grace that Eddie and Frances have given to many blessed people. Above all PLEASE PRAY. Secondly, if you are able please contribute to provide some stability in a chaotic situation. The Willis family is facing a difficult time, and we have an opportunity to lighten the financial burden. This will allow Frances the chance to take a leave of absence from work with a little extra peace of mind. To be sure, nobody asked us to do this. We simply want to help people who have spent their lives helping others. We know a gift of any amount will be a tremendous help and blessing to them during this time. Thank you for your support.
