On October 9th, my Aunt Paula and her husband Bill lost their home in a fire in Santa Rosa, CA.
At 2am she woke up to someone banging on her front door. The back side of her hill in Santa Rosa was on fire and they were told to evacuate. As they were evacuating, they could see fire embers being blown across their street and prayed they didn't lose everything. Unfortunately, their worst nightmare came true that day and the house burnt down.
They recently just bought this new home and weren't even done decorating it yet. So my hope is, with a GoFuneMe page, we can help them buy everyday essenitals, clothes, medication, food and anything during these hard time. Thank you for your Support.

Here is what my Aunt said this morning:
Imagine waking up in the middle of the night and roll over and you are not looking at your nightstand with your clock or favorite book, then realize you are not at home and not on vacation and it's not a dream. Imagine not being able to walk in the dark to go to the bathroom or go in the kitchen to grab a drink because you are bumping into foreign territory. Imagine not being able to grab your favorite jean or comfy slippers because they are gone. But you also roll over in bed and your spouse is there, alive and well. Reaching over and finding comfort in their arms and your dog licking your face trying to also show their love. You realize you're alive and you have many friends and loved ones to offer support, comfort and love. I thought I was just imaging the first, but I'm thankful for last. We'll rebuild our life, but knowing we have so much LOVE pouring our way is something we are truly grateful for. Bill and I are truly thankful for all of you. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prays. We look forward to hugs in the future.
