Hello friends,
Recently Scamp suffered a complete tear of his left knee ligament(ACL). While trying to compensate for the injury last week he suffered a partial tear in the other leg. So now both hind legs are injured and need surgery which costs around @$4,200 per knee.
For over 8 years Scamp and I have been visiting rest homes, hospitals and schools in the area as a therapy dog team. The residents and staff just love him, and he seems to really enjoy doing this work.
Why this appeal: I have been out of work since last summer and my resources are almost gone. As a parent/owner I hate to see him hurting but I just don't have the money to get him taken care of. I am asking your help to the raise funds to get surgery for Scamp. He is only 8 1/2 years old and we should have several more years left together. Scamp is the last gift from my late wife Diane and has been a great blessing in my life, and many others, please help if you can.
