Please help Pluto beat Cancer!
Pluto is my 7 year old Labrador Retriever and the best friend I could ever ask for!
Sadly, in March 2020, Pluto was diagnosed with B-Cell Lymphoma, a progressive Cancer that resulted in a rapid decline in his health.
With no hesitation, we started him on a six month Chemotherapy protocol (CHOP) which had amazing results. Within a week Pluto was showing massive improvements and was soon back to his usual excited self and bouncing around like a puppy again!
After a fun summer, September soon came around and Pluto finished his Chemotherapy with the news that we had hoped for... He was successfully in complete remission! He was fit and healthy and loving life!
Unfortunately, just over two months later, in November, Pluto developed a slight swelling in his lymph nodes, an early sign of a Lymphoma relapse. A sample of the lymph nodes was taken and what we had feared has now been confirmed, the Lymphoma has returned.
If Pluto has had the pleasure of meeting you, then you will know that he is an amazing boy who loves life and is full of excitement! I believe that Pluto has a lot of life left in him and I know he is not ready to give up and I’m definitely not ready to give up on him!! Therefore, we have made the decision to start Pluto on a new four month chemotherapy protocol (LAP) with the hope of achieving complete remission again and a chance of a happy longer life.
Unfortunately, with the expense of Pluto’s initial Chemotherapy treatment and the unforeseen circumstances caused by COVID-19 that lead to my redundancy, our funds are low. Therefore, we ask for any help possible in contributing toward Pluto’s upcoming Chemotherapy treatment.
The LAP protocol consists of multiple treatments administered over a duration of 18 weeks with regular blood tests throughout. The cost of this treatment is very expensive and I could never expect to raise the full amount. However, my hope is to raise at least part of the cost to help toward Pluto completing his full course of treatment.
All donations will be massively appreciated no matter how small and we will be forever grateful!
