Please HELP My Best Friend....

The economy has taken it's toll for many families across the US.  So is true for my best friend and sister in law Pamela Altmeyer Smith.  She has worked very very hard for all of her entire life and taken good care of herself and others.  A couple years ago the economy took it's toll on her work and she fell two house payments behind and stayed that way up until today.  Always making certain to make her current payment each and every month (last week of month) so that she never fell 3 months behind.   That was the plan to keep her afloat until she gained more work and could get the other two payments made up.  On July 31st she called to make her payment but the mortgage company responded with:  we cannot accept the one payment, we must have 3 payments as you went over the 89th day and are in default.  Even worse, as it hit the next day (the 1st of Aug) they wanted 4 payments.  Her heart sunk as she exclaimed, WHAT DO YOU MEAN, I ALWAYS MAKE MY PAYMENT THE LAST WEEK OF THE MONTH.  They responded, but you should know each month has a different amount of days and you went over the 89 days as it states in your mortgage contract.   those words left her shocked, horrified, and devatstated to say the least.  All in an error on her part because she had no idea she needed to call two days earlier. So now her home is going to forclosure unless I can raise $5500 for her in 2 weeks time.  That is a large amount to come up with for one person or a few people.  That's why I am taking it Family, Friends, Church, Acquaintances, and ANYONE else who has a heart for people that are going through an emergency.  She has given her ALL to help others all the days of her life.  Please, take the time to give back to her in her time of need.  If God lays it upon your heart and you can afford to give something big, awesome.  But if you are the one that doesn't have it to give and can only do something small, wonderful!  If we all ban together, this could happen really easily!  :)  And we just never know when you and I may be the next one in need down the road.   Time is of the essence, so please act now.
