Help Sarah DiIorio Rebuild

Sarah DiIorio has been a member of the Dwight community for 13 years. She is not only a 3's teacher who has worn many other hats at ECD but also one of the varsity coaches for our girls' soccer team.

Unfortunately, on the morning of Thursday, December 7th, there was a fire in Sarah's apartment that destroyed most everything in a matter of minutes. Thank goodness Sarah was not in her apartment at the time and no one was injured. Unfortunately, Sarah lost a lot of her belongings (couch, bed...), personal items, and her kitchen was completely destroyed (appliances, utensils, food...).  She has had to move into a new apartment and as soon as she has removed what can be salvaged, they are demolishing her old apartment.
Starting over is not easy, even in the best of circumstances.  Anything we can do as friends, colleagues, and as a community to make this unfortunate incident a little easier for Sarah would mean a lot and probably give her a bit of emotional relief during an extremely stressful time.
