Quincie Dawson Brown's Clan Fund
Hello all,
The Brown family desperately needs our help.
Quincie Dawson Brown's Clan is trying to raise funds to help with expenses occurred after Quincie acutely became ill with a terrible bacteria on a valve in her heart . After several days of antibiotics it was decided that Quincie needed emergent open heart surgery to replace her Aortic Valve.
On Friday July 6th Quincie was prepped for this lifesaving surgery. Before the first cut was made Quincie went into Cardiac arrest. The medical crew did CPR and Four minutes later, miraculously, Quincie's heart began to pump again. The crew proceeded with the valve replacement, for without the surgery, she would surely not make it!! The surgery became extremely complicated and went on for over 10 hours.
Quincie"s condition has been guarded and complicated. She remains in critical condition after undergoing 4 different surgeries in less than a week.
At the present, her kidneys have underwent so much stress that continuous dialysis is needed to support them. If things were not bad enough, the blood supply to her lower right extremity ceased. After several attempts to save her leg, removal became necessary, as it was hindering her recovery progress.
Several weeks previous to this tragic event Quincie lost her job related to new ownership in the facility. Quincie had proudly dedicated 20+ years in her position there. WHEN IT RAINS IT POURS.
We are asking for any donations to offset medical expenses and daily expenses that have resulted from the families loss of income. The donations will help her family focus on Quincie's long road to recovery.
It is unknown at this time how long her recovery process will be. We are estimating that it may take 6 months to a year.
Quincie is a beautiful strong and selfless women with an amazing loving husband and 2 wonderful children.
