Help with expenses for Hank Johnson

Donation protected

UPDATED AT THE BOTTOM:

Many members of the Johnson family began to get the flu the weekend of January 5, 2018.  Hank began to experience flu-like symptoms on Monday, January 8th, the night of the National Championship game between Alabama and Georgia.   If you know Hank Johnson, you know something is wrong when he says, "I'm going to record the game.  I need to go lay down."  Hank went to lay down and stayed in the bed until a doctor's appointment was made on Wednesday, January 10th.  When Hank arrived at the doctor's office, the nurses were unable to find his oxygen level on the pulse oximeter.  After trying several pulse oximeters, it was determined that Hank had only 50%.  At this point, the doctor sent him straight to the hospital where they were awaiting his arrival.  Upon arrival, it was determined that Hank had severe pneumonia and needed immediate care.  Hank was not able to breathe fully and his lungs were not able to begin healing so it was decided to place him under anesthesia in a medically induced coma to allow his body to work full time to heal.

In the early hours of February 9, 2018, Hank’s blood pressure dropped dramatically which led to his passing.

Any money collected will now go toward his funeral expenses.

Prayers are appreciated.

Thank you so much,
Diane Johnson Summerlin
