Help the Nelsons Rebuild

On Tuesday, August 6, The Nelsons came home from a routine grocery run to find their two story home engulfed in flames. The fire department speculates that flamable materials in the garbage can combusted and the fire quickly spread up the side of the house, destroying much of the second story. 

Thankfully, all five family members and their two cats are all safe and sound, but most of their belongings on the second story were destroyed, including toys, clothing, furniture and appliances.

This emergency fund is intended to support the family of five with their immediate needs for clothing, toiletries, temporary housing and other unexpected expenses in the wake of this heartbreaking accident.  Thank you for your gifts and kind words of support.
