Give Nahla her Life Back

Nahla is a sweet 2 year old Pit Bull/Boxer mix born with a luxating patella which caused torn CCL's in both back legs. As time went on, the original defect would cause a world of pain and discomfort for this baby girl. In September of 2013 while in the backyard playing, Nahla tore her right Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CCL) and then tore her left CCL in November. When diagnosed, the vet put Nahla on bed rest, which consisted of laying down 23 out of 24 hours a day. Nahla was an extremely active puppy who enjoys long walks and runs with her owner, Kristina, and enjoys playing with other puppies. Nahla had another veterinary appointment this afternoon (December 28, 2013); since bed rest did not heal her CCL's she will need surgery. They are starting with the leg that seems to be in the most pain and hoping the other will heal on its own after some rehab. This one leg will cost between 2,400.00-2,700.00. If she needs both, we are looking at double this cost.


I am raising on behalf of my best friend and Nahla's owner, Kristina. Kristina is a college student graduating in May and is need of any help we can give her. We all know how hard it is to work and save in college, so let's help them out anyway we can. If you're unable to donate- please help by sending prayers and good thoughts.
