After being self-sufficient for the better part of my life I now find myself in a position where I need to ask for help from others. I started getting terrible pain in my neck in September of 2011. I was working two jobs at the time. By the summer of 2012, I was getting numbness and paralysis in my hands and arms. I was taken off work at my full time job in November of 2012 by my doctor. In September of 2013 I had to stop working completely or risk permanent paralysis. I will not have insurance coverage & surgery until the 1st of the year when Obamacare becomes effective. I am trying to keep a roof over my head and hold out until I can get the surgery and can continue working. I really cannot wait!
Anything you could do to help would be greatly appreciated. No amount is too small. It all adds up. I know there are a lot of causes out there and I hope one day in the not so distant future I will be able to repay your kindness, by paying it forward.
