Kristen's Medical Trip to India

We are raising money so Kristen can go to India for a special medical treatment that is not available in the USA. Kristen's husband will go with her for the 8 week treatment. Money raised will be used for airfare, medical and living expenses. 

Since 2005, Kristen has been suffering from neurological disease which has affected her ability to move, eat, talk, swallow and even breath. In 2008, Kristen lost the ability to walk and has been confined to a wheel chair ever since. Kristen is a very independent spirit and the fact that she needs assistance with all her daily needs is extremely frustrating for her.

Kristen graduated from Vermont Law School in May 2005, eager to begin her career in environmmental law. Unfortunately, physical symptoms of the disease had become visible by late summer and she had to resign from her position at the VT Secretary of State's   Office.

The treatment in India has been used for over 10 years with great results for a wide range of neurological conditions. Of course Kristen's Medicare coverage does not extend to New Deli, so we need the help of friends, family and kind spirits to get Kristen to the clinic.
