Help Kody!

For those of who do not know Kody has been in jail for 17 months and still his case still hasn't been resolved. We actually fired his lawyer because he not only didn't show up to court dates but pushed the court date back so many times that he had to move to another court in another city. Long story short kody hasn't even had preliminary hearing hes been in jail with his lawyer doing nothing on his behalf. At one court date the judge even made a comment and asked Kody if he would like a new lawyer because his WAS NOT doing his job. After this I finally decided to call different lawyers and get legal advice. it just wasn't making since as to why a year and a half later kodys case has gone no where. We now know the lawyer falsely reassured us many times and had done absolutely nothing. This lawyer had my mom sell her vehicle to come up with money for a doctor to evaluate Kody. He told her this would help get him out but ironically he has not put this evaluation to good use.
I found a lawyer who told us everything we needed to know. She is going to get kody out of jail and actually work on his behalf which the previous lawyer failed to do. The only thing stopping her from doing this is the lack of funds. My mom is trying desperately to come up with the retainer which is $5,000. So far we have $2,500. Any amount helps. Even a dollar.
