<div><strong>Our Revised Mission: Supporting Emmalyn's Recovery Near Duke University Hospital</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><span style="font-family:inherit;font-size:1rem;color:inherit;">As Emmalyn's journey unfolds, our mission evolves to meet her changing needs. Following a pivotal surgery to repair a spinal fluid leak, performed by the skilled Dr. Grant at Duke University Hospital, our focus shifts to supporting Emmalyn through a critical 6-week recovery period in North Carolina. This unexpected extension of our stay, far from home, brings with it a new set of challenges and expenses, including housing, daily necessities, transportation, and medical copays.</span>

<div><strong>Why We Still Need $20,000</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our initial goal of raising $20,000 remains as vital as ever. These funds are not just numbers; they're a lifeline ensuring Emmalyn receives uninterrupted care, and her family can stay by her side without the added stress of financial strain. Here’s how your generous donations will be utilized:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- Housing: Securing a safe and comfortable place for Emmalyn and her family to stay during this recovery phase.
</div>
<div>- Food and Daily Necessities: Covering the cost of meals and other essentials for the family while they are away from home.
</div>
<div>- Transportation: Fueling the back-and-forth trips to the hospital and eventually, the journey back home.
</div>
<div>- Medical Expenses: Assisting with copays and any unforeseen medical costs that arise during this period.
</div>

<div><strong>A Call to Action</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, more than ever, Emmalyn and her family need the support of their community. Your donations go beyond financial aid; they're a gesture of love, solidarity, and encouragement for a young girl and her family facing the toughest battle of their lives. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a significant impact.

<div>We invite you to continue sharing Emmalyn's story, to keep her spirit uplifted, and to help us reach our unwavering goal of $20,000. Together, we can ensure that Emmalyn's focus remains on healing, surrounded by love and support, without the added burden of financial worries.
