I’m David!

7 years ago, I was diagnosed with AML, cancer. Was told it was more than likely my last week. After I survived, I was told my chances of surviving 5 years, was about 10%. Doctors don’t know my God.

it beat me pretty badly. Had 3 brain surgeries, now I have a shunt. A stroke crippled my left side. Lost my teeth. Lost over 40 lbs. eyes no longer produce moisture. Right side tremors making life interesting. I’m still breathing and smiling. After brain surgery, I was told I might not walk again. Wrong! No assistance needed. It’s not pretty, but I do it. I was told I’d never live an independent life. I live in my home with my daughter.

after all that, I’m still getting problems. Lately, my jaw has locked up and the ER (2X) has done nothing. I eat sautéed food, high energy boost and weight gainer powder. The cost is about 2-300 a month. I didn’t have that before my jaw locked up. This is why I’m on here, I don’t know what else to do.
