Brother Cats Recovery Fund

Hi my name is Brother Cat, I think I'm just about two years old. My original owners abandoned me and my brother, Mister Cat, and moved away leaving us to fend for our selves and prowl the neighborhood. I don't really like confrontation, and am scared of most of the humans in our cul-de-sac. Last spring my brother found our real Mom and Dad. They were very nice, and gave us food. My favorite part is when they would sit outside with us during the summer, and gave us a comfy rug bed. Mister Cat had very bad fleas when we adopted our parents and had lots of owies so I never really spoke up about my broken tail or needs. I was happy.

Recently I got attacked by something and didn't tell my Mom and Dad. I didn't want to worry them so I begged and begged to go outside, like I normally do when I have to use the restroom like a true gentleman, and I just didn't have the strength to come home. It was very cold, with snow and ice everywhere. After two days of hunkering down I found the strength to come home. I was scared my Mom and Dad would be upset with me, especially because my back had started to bleed.
My Mom and Dad took me to a very nice emergency vet, and thought the best thing for me was to have some anesthesia, and have the abcess on my back drained; however, when the vet started examining me when I was asleep she discovered that the majority of the skin on my lower back had died. She ended up removing all the dead skin, and stitching a sugar bandage to my body to help me grow new skin. I have to go in everyday to get it changed by my doctor. Once I have enough skin again I can get it stitched up and really start to feel better.

My reoccurring vet visits, medicine, new specific diet, and emergency surgery(ies) have added up to a large financial stress on my parents. I know they are doing everything in their power to keep me healthy, fear-free, and happy, but could use some help. If you can somehow help us through this troublesome time I would be forever grateful, and I know my mom and dad would too.

Happy Purring,
Brother Cat
Hello my friends! All of Brother Cats expenses have added up to three-thousand dollars. This covers his emergency surgery, multiple medicines, and antibiotics. This also covers all bandage replacements for ten days, new special food, and his wound closure surgery. If you can afford to help our family through this, we would be forever thankful. Even prayers and positive vibes will be infinitely influential on his recovery. We just want our baby to be happy and healthy again. (They really did adopt me and Kasey. We never saw them coming. I am forever in debt that they trusted and opened their hearts to us, despite being broken hearted by their past owners. Love truly is abundant with our furry friends)

Love, and happiest of holidays to all of our two and four legged friends,

Riah, Kasey, Brother Cat & Mister Cat
