Help Blake Shred Again...
Blake Simpson is a 18 year old skater from Bakersfield, California...
His life's passion was found in the bowls, ramps and hips of a skatepark. He could always be found at the skatepark flipping and airing about, shredding with his friends was his life...
Then on August 1st, 2013 his life would take a massive turn... Blake was involved in a horrific car accident, it's hard to imagine how anyone could have survived a crash of such magnitude, but under that twisted heap of metal, amazingly Blake did... However the wreck would serve to render him a paraplegic...
Over the course of the next few months...
Blake dedicated himself to his rehab and adapting to the new life of using a wheelchair. However while his attitude has always remained happy go lucky, one thing was missing for him... And that was the ability to hit the skatepark again.
Then one day on Facebook... Blake was inspired by the wheelchair stunts of professional WCMX shredders Aaron "Wheelz" Fotheringham and Christiaan "Otter" Bailey. With a new found fervor, Blake has vowed to return to the skatepark and rekindle his passion for the pastime he loves so much!
Blake needs your help!!!
Blake's goal is to raise money to purchase a Box WCMX wheelchair, a custom type of full suspension wheelchair, specifically designed for use doing tricks at skateparks...
But Blake can't do this alone... We have set a goal to raise $3800.00 for his new chair. Whether $1 or $100, every donation counts and helps Blake get one "step" closer to fulfilling he dreams of returning to the park!
