Memorial For Baby Jianna

Donation protected
UPDATE FEBRUARY 7th ~ Jianna's condition has worsen, she has now been diagnosed with NEC a disease that affects your intestines. The doctors have told her parents that there was nothing more they could do and that they should take Jianna off the vent. Her parents refused to give up on her and asked that her team of doctors continue her care.  She has since then stabilized and is now continuing to fight with the help of the doctors and nurses at CHOP.  They have been told that it will be many months before they can even operate on her and now the thing that her mother and father have feared the most has happened.  They have gone from seeing and holding their daughter everyday to going days without seeing her.
With Jianna being in  Philadelphia and her parents in New Jersey it is very difficult for them to get to her and see her like they used to. Their truck has broken down 3 times in less than a months time since Jianna has been in the hospital and, with the tolls, the cost of parking and the constant repairs on their only vehicle it's making it almost impossible for them to get to her. Jianna's mother and father need our help they are amazing parents and it kills me that they are going through this. Please if you can't donate take a couple seconds and share this link for them. Thank you and God bless those who have already donated or shared this link .

                 ~Original Post~

On December 18, 2014 Jianna's mother was hopitalized due to her water rupturing early. She was admitted that same day and told that she would be unable to leave until Jianna was delivered. On Dec 23, 2014 Jianna decided to make an early appearance, at 25 weeks 3 months earlier than her mother and father expected. She weighed in at 1lb 13oz and was given only a 50% chance of living.  She has gone through several procedures in a two week time frame. Just when her parents thought everything was fine, the doctors told them Jianna had fluid in her lungs and had to be intubated, at that time she was diagnosed with Chronic Respiratory Disease. Since Jianna was born at 25 weeks her family has no idea when she will be coming home and the doctors have told them they have a long road ahead of them. Now on top of dealing with their daughter fighting for her life their family has taken another hit. The transmission in their only vehicle has failed leaving them with no transportation. Jianna's mother now has no way to get to the hospital to see and comfort her daughter or in the event of an emergency. The repairs to fix the vehicle are not in their budget as Jianna's mother is currently a stay at home mom to 7 beautiful children. Dad is the sole provider for the family but has had to take time off from work for the unexpected delivery of Jianna. With the vehicle being down things will only get worse and the repairs are very expensive with only one income and a fairly large household they are in serious need of assistance! Jianna's mother is the type of person to NEVER ask for help so I took the time to create this page since its the one time in her life that she needs to.  Please help this family in their time of need! Any donation would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
