Tora - Vet Relief and Recovery fund

Tora is a 4 and a half month old Blue Staffy Pup. Last Wednesday ( 14th of January  2015 ) Tora's owner,   Michael was on his way from their home on the central coast to work in Newcastle. Tora goes to work with Michael and is a VERY much loved part of their family.
Around 7.30am Tora snapped her collar and came out of the ute around the Bennets Green lights along the Bypass to Newcastle.  A witness saw her cross the road and a dark sedan stop and pick her up near the entry ramp from Warners bay.

For the last 6 days, Michael and his partner Sara, along with friends and family have walked km after km after km, along the Bypass. They have called vets all over Newcastle and the Central Coast. They have spoken with RSPCA, local council rangers, local newspapers, radio stations and Police. For Sale size signs have been made up, along with hundreds of flyers and been distributed all around the surrounding suburbs.
Facebook and Social media pages were set up and alot of people begun to share and spread the word.
Some dog rescue people offered their help and spent the last day or 2 following some information on possiable sightings of Tora.  Sadly Tora was missing in a area that houses some not so nice people and we were given information that she had ended up in the wrong hands with people in the windale. Things were not looking good UP UNTIL THIS MORNING

A male gave information that he saw a dog in very dense bushland when riding his bike. Michael again went straight there.  After searching again for awhile, Micheal could hear something... AND THEN HE SAW TORA.

She had visible ticks around her head and could not walk properly on her back leg. She had cuts to her legs and feet.
Michael called his partner and then myself ( involved with dog rescue) Very emotional we had to get her to a vet STRAIGHT away.
Not being from this area, their normal vet was to far away so we took her to the closest vet clinic.

Tora is SAFE but needing days of treatment for paralysis ticks and then the injury to her leg ( which has not been x rayed yet) She is very tired and drained and needs alot of rest and recovery

I ask from the goodness of your heart and to all the animal angels out there, if you could PLEASE help donate to Tora s ongoing vet bills. Michael, Sara, their daughter and soon to be new baby due in a few weeks are a very loving and beautiful family and we hope to be able to help them but mostly HELP TORA

UPDATE - Tora has had to be taken straight to SASH ( small animal specialist hospital where Bondi Vet is filmed ) in Sydney this afternoon. Her injuries are worse then we originally thought. She has extreme damage to her right hip, a broken femeral neck and her hip socket has to be almost be rebuilt.
Cost estimate is between $3800 - $5500

So our PLEA for help has now been upped and we are hoping for any help - Big or Small.
Little Tora has proved she is a fighter so we have to keep fighting for her! Please help and thank you in advance
