Help us raise funds for Dive Project Cornwall

Hi everyone,

We at Overland Underwater are a PADI Scuba Diving training company based in York and have a team of professional divers that provide PADI scuba diving courses for all levels.
We are very passionate about the health of our oceans and do what we can to help raise awareness  in our younger generations as to how they can make a positive impact on helping to save our oceans and the marine life in it.

With the support of the MARINE CONSERVATION SOCIETY, Dive Project Cornwall will educate hundreds of thousands of young people by delivering an education programme directly into schools across the UK, raising the awareness of the importance of the planet’s marine environment and its vital role in our very existence.

 

DIVE PROJECT CORNWALL will also reach millions of adults through promotional features via multiple media partners and strong collaborations with numerous ocean-based charities, who, together, will help deliver our key messages to thousands of young people and millions of adults.

 

Through the educational and promotional efforts of DIVE PROJECT CORNWALL we will engage schools up and down the country and will result in giving 400 lucky teenagers the opportunity of a lifetime.

 

Together we can shout loudly to spread the message about the critical importance of the health of our oceans and educate people about the real and serious threats to our marine environment and the survival of our entire planet.

 

We need to raise money to support our schools and children in being able to take action and educate everyone on marine conservation and to the wonders that SCUBA diving can offer.

I will be virtually cycling 400 miles, the distance from York to Dive Project Cornwall, in April to raise £5000 to go to Dive Project Cornwall's Education fund. In Spring 2023 20 teenagers will embark on transforming in to Ocean advocates and will become certified PADI Open Water Divers.
