Help us Adopt A baby

What a journey it has been to get to this day! For those of you who don’t know us, we are Michael and Jennifer Higgins. Our story began after meeting each other on a Christian singles dating site and in 2013 we got married and we have been together for eight and a half years. I am unable to carry a baby due to infertility issues and  we have always wanted to have a family. We tried multiple times to get pregnant. I was able to get pregnant in the fall of 2014 and in the spring of 2015, but I lost both babies at six and nine weeks the second one being an ectopic pregnancy. We want so much to be able to have a family. I myself am adopted since birth and have loving adoptive parents and Michael has a younger brother who was adopted  so we understand what it is to have a blended family. We want so much to be able to grow our family and to nurture a child of our own. I have worked as a caregiver and a nanny for the last nine years to special needs and developmental disabled kids and also seniors through my work as a caregiver. Michael is a full-time special-needs school bus driver for the local school district in Roseville, California. 

We are working with an adoption agency-Family Christian Connection Adoption Agency-  and need to continue to fund raise to help us pay for ongoing  adoption  costs, court costs once a match is made and attorneys fees that will help us with a private agency adoption . Our goal is $15,000. We are loving Seventh Day Adventist Christians and we have been praying and hoping that God would bless us with a family.  If you would like to help us expand our family, please feel free to donate.
