Southern Quintet

Hey Everyone!! The Southern Quintet has been accepted to attend the Imani Winds Chamber Music Festival from July 28, 2013 to August 8, 2013. This will take place at The Juilliard School of Music in New York City. The quintet members include Brittany Trotter, Garrick Pitts, Ernesto Balarezo, Zully Casallas and Amanda Ray. We got great scholarships from the Imani Winds and from our University. However, in order for us to attend the festival we need to raise $4000 by the beginning of July. The $4000 is what we need overall, but if we are not able to raise all of it we will still be able to use the money we have raised to help cover expenses. This will help cover our housing and travel for the festival. We have been playing together for a year in different venues/recitals and we have worked very hard to get accepted into the festival. We are honored to have been accepted because the level for this festival is among the highest of the continent. If you can help us in anyway possible, even if it is just one dollar, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your support!
