Help the Children of Brazil!

Hello Friends and Family,

I hope this email finds you well. I, unfortunately am not very well. I have caught some kind of cold, and not quite sure what it is. I am very nauseous and have a fever. I sweat at night even though I'll be shivering. I am having horrible abdominal pains and my muscles and joints are constantly aching. And I have no energy to even walk to the store. Walking home from work exhausts me, and I can't walk all the way without stopping. I definitely need to see a Doctor, but they are very expensive here, and my Portuguese isn't good enough to speak to one.

I am still teaching 4 different classes - 3 levels of English, and a humanities class for kids who are essentially fluent in English. Most of them are artists; dancers, singers, etc., who have dreams of traveling the world one day and "making it."

I do still need to raise much more money to volunteer for this program. It is very similar to the Peace Corps, however, I am responsible for my own living expenses. I am reaching out for an assist from people like you who want to see me succeed. This is not a paid position; I am volunteering my time, experience, and knowledge to help at-risk youth.
