Hi, my name is Jenna Turnis.

I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my best friend Chelsea and the Green family.

Andrew Green is a combat veteran who served in Afghanistan. He came home on a medical discharge from an IED explosion.

Andrew and Chelsea were married in February and have 6 children ranging in age from 10 to a brand new 1-month-old.

10 days ago, Andrew had a 17-minute seizure. He has been in the ICU on a vent, struggling with pneumonia, strep, high blood pressure, and a raging fever. Doctors and infectious disease specialists are fighting hard to save his life.

In the meantime, Chelsea has been balancing 6 kids while making back-and-forth trips to the ICU, driving daily into the city from a different town.

It is my hope that with this GoFundMe, it will alleviate the stress of day-to-day necessities such as gas, food, and future medical necessities.

Chelsea is one of the most selfless people that I know. Any help to make this mama’s life a little easier in this time of need and the unknown of what lies ahead would be a huge weight off her shoulders so she can focus on her husband and kids.
