Help for The Cellars and Friends Tom and Geri

2020 has been a hard year for us all. It has been especially unforgiving to those in the Restaurant business.
Tom and Geri Foley, owners of Broadway Cellars (Cellars Bar and Grill)5900 N. Broadway in Chicago, are no exception. While Tom and Geri have continued to serve the community to the best of their ability, they have incurred innumerable expenses that have eaten their savings.
The latest was the hot water heater and boiler for the restaurant to the tune of $15,000!. Yep. The virtual straw that breaks the back of these 2 great people.
Tom and Geri are a neighborhood fixture in Chicago. The list of groups they have donated part of their nightly earnings to is endless, but to name just a few: Wings, AIDS Foundation, PAWS Chicago, Felines, Inc., Lamda Legal, Rape Victims Advocates, several Elementary Schools, The Hana Center, Dining out for Life, Congregation of Chadash, Care for Real Food Pantry, just to name a few. Honestly. There are many more.
So many of us have celebrated Birthdays, Christenings, Memorials, Weddings and family gatherings at the Cellars. Tom and Geri are family. And Geri Coleman-Foley is forever a part of the American Airlines Flight Attendant Family and APFA Vice Chair at ORD and IOR!! How many of us depended on her to fix our issues at work!!
They need our help now. I know this is very hard for them. Please open your hearts AND your funds to help them stay open for all of us and for all they help in so many ways! Time is short. Closures are happening again. The monthly rent has to get paid regardless!
