My wife Donna, & myself are in a very serious situation right now…& we need the help of others now. Please help us…KEEP OUR HOME; the apartment that we have lived in, for the past 13 months.
This, is VERY SERIOUS. In fact, I waited until the last minute…until there wasn't any other choice, but to ask for outside help. I hope I am NOT too late!? Our landlord is not being very understanding, in the midst of a medical & financial crisis. The ONLY reason we don’t have all of the rent money, is because my wife Donna, was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital. I think we have until around Monday (August 13, 2018), to pay all of the necessary rent money due. We are both, very overwhelmed & nervous right now. We need the help of others right now. This is a TRUE EMERGENCY!
This is a bit "wordy," but I felt a need to explain in detail. >> I hope you will read all of this. << Thank you!
Donna was admitted to Banner Desert Medical Center (hospital), on July 1, 2018. I drove her there, because she was having a very difficult time breathing & was having chest pains, walking even just a few feet, etc.. I had to take her into the hospital ER, via wheelchair, as she could not walk at this point. This had been going on for around 4 to 5 weeks, & was getting worse everyday. Finally on Sunday (July 1st), she could not even walk across the room.
She was diagnosed that same night, with Congestive Heart Failure. This was quite a shock to both of us. Donna was admitted to the ICU/Intensive Care Unit. She was in the hospital, for 6 days. Because of this, she missed 10 days of work. She has returned to work now. This is a very serious condition, where her heart is not pumping blood properly. Donna was given a Zoll "Life Vest," before being discharged from the hospital. It is a wearable defibrillator, that monitors her heart for serious/fatal cardiac events. She has to wear this at all times.
This medical/health crisis, has hit us very hard. Unfortunately, we have been living paycheck to paycheck lately. We always pay our rent on time, every month. Since she missed 10 days of paid days at work, we have fallen short on our rent for July & August. We are in serious danger, of being evicted now! I had thought, the landlord would understand, because of her being in the hospital, & the seriousness of her condition…but, no. WE HAVE NO OTHER PLACE TO GO RIGHT NOW...& it is way too hot for any kind of a move right now. Unfortunately, we live in Arizona...& it is VERY HOT. My cars A/C died on me just last week. It isn't very easy driving around in this kind of heat. It is very dangerous for both Donna, & myself…especially Donna.
A move right now, would be extremely dangerous, if not deadly. We have been at our apartment, for 13 months now, & have paid them over $12,000 in rent fees. We only need another month, to "catch up." We have every intention, of paying them EVERYTHING we owe…with fees included. We need help right now, in paying part of July, August, & POSSIBLY part of September. We are trying to get a personal loan, as well...but it isn't looking very good.
To try and survive all of this, I have sold much of my music equipment. This is a very sad situation, as I really miss being able to play my music. It WILL be replaced, in time though.

If we get evicted now, I know I won’t be able to handle it…I've been through WAY too much in the last 5-6 years. My wife, Donna, won't be able to handle it either...especially with her having serious heart problems now. I am 60 years old, & Donna is 59.
What we need, right now, is $1,488. We need is $1,488 for part of July & all of August. We MAY also need help for September's rent, though we will probably have a solution by then. We will be totally fine & caught up, by October at the latest. I know people don't owe us anything, but we would greatly appreciate your kindness right now. I always try to help people out whenever I can...life is short.
I also, have serious health issues, including "vitreous degeneration" in my right eye. I was diagnosed with that in June. I was in the hospital in March of this year, with 2 bleeding ulcers. I had lost so much blood, that I needed 2 blood transfusions. I am under way too much stress as it . The Doctors said my ulcers, were from stress. I can't handle much more, especially losing our home. The stress I have, because of my eyes, is extremely overwhelming, in itself. I will need laser surgery, sometime soon.
I should have started asking people for help, much sooner than this, but I didn't want to ask people for help with money. I did EVERYTHING to avoid it. I am hoping & praying for a miracle right now…we don't have much time left to get this resolved & paid. Any & all help would be greatly appreciated right now. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
I realize, to some people...it may sound like "I am whining." If you put yourself in my shoes, for just a moment...you will most likely see things differently. I hope you do! This...is VERY SERIOUS!
I am hoping & praying people will help us out right now. If not, we will be homeless…& lose everything, all over again. The last 5-6 years have been a nightmare…I HONESTLY CAN'T HANDLE MUCH MORE. Please, we need your help right now. If we can just get through THIS...we will be okay, & totally self-sufficient again, by the time September gets here...possibly October.
