Help baby Makayla

makayla was slammed into the floor by a sick and twisted jerk. because of his actions this poor little girls skull was fractured. she has been through 15 surgeries since then. the most recent has been the most heart breaking. the piece of skull they cut out in the beginning to allow her brain to swell in hopes to save her faculties and motor skills (which worked) was replaced a few surgeries back. she has been doing wonderful with the wound vac and has even been home for a while. she was finally able to play and be a part of her family. a thanksgiving miracle. however, this past weekend she has hit a roadblock. she developed a fever. stephanie immediately took her to the hospital. they decided to open up the bone flap and see if there was any infections. sure enough - the whole piece of skull was riddled with infection and had to literally be thrown in the garbage. they cleaned out any remaining infection and brought her out of surgery. she is currently stable but as you can see below in picu and being monitored. they are in amarillo however the doctors are sending her down to dallas for further testing. her family is in pieces over this. the positive is this girl is a fighter - so please say prayers for her - forward on to your prayer groups, this family is in need of prayers to get through this. it has been a rollercoaster of emotion. please help makayla and her family so stephanie fisher her mom will be able to stay by her side. if you are unable to donate please share, pray and help wrap them in positive, healing energy.
