His mother is suffering from a neurological condition that has been exacerbated greatly during these times. As even the small amount of aide that comes in is often sold at an extreme price. Everyday the situation is becoming more catastrophic and everyday it is harder to survive. Khalil has witnessed several wars in his lifetime due to the occupation forces, but has never experienced anything as difficult and devastating as the current situation. Without a proper home, lack of food, clean water, sanitary products, and other basic items, life in Gaza has become unbearable. Everything he knew has been destroyed, all of their dreams have been destroyed. Money has become the biggest obstacle in this situation. Evacuating from Gaza is very expensive, even with <span>an</span> Egyptian Visa and it is impossible to obtain the money to do so without the generosity of donors..<br />
