Dental Treatments for Zambia

We are raising money to fund dental treatment and oral hygiene education for middle school children in rural Zambia in June of 2018. US university students work with Zambian medical school students to assess the overall health of middle school children in communities with high rates of malnutrition and stunting.  Children who require immediate dental treatment are taken to local dentists and hospitals. Our program covers costs for the necessary procedures. All children are provided with hygiene education. Monies collected through this site will be used to improve the dental health status of Zambian children in grades 5 through 9. They will receive extractions, fillings, medications, and follow-ups.  Our goal is to strengthen preventive care so that in future visits children will not lose their permanent teeth to decay.  Help us support children and communities in need!  Contributions in any amount are appreciated and will make a difference!
