Zack Woodward Medical Fund ~
Zack was diagnosed early this year with a condition called gastroparesis; A condition that is definitely no joke! There is no cure for this condition but there are various treatments for helping individuals cope. Treatments range from things as simple as dietary changes and oral medications all the way to botox injections, feeding tubes, and an implant of a pacemaker into the stomach.
Zack has gone through all available treatments with the exception of two, the feeding tube or the pacemaker. The doctors and surgeons currently treating him have all agreed that a surgery to implant the pacemaker is the optimal solution. Doctors are putting off plans to put in the feeding tube for as long as possible. Zack's most recent hospital stay, resulting when his esophagus was torn away from the stomach, has only furthered the urgency. As needed as the surgery is, its an expensive surgery. All donations are going directly to Zack to help him afford this much needed surgery.
