At this time, it is vital for Victor to restore and rebuild his life by gradually returning to meaningful work in a sustainable capacity. Staying in our home means that he can provide a massage or two a week or consult as a personal trainer, while he reconditions and stabilizes his symptoms.

Victor's motto is "Live to Play - Play to Live" and for him, work is play - and a critical part of his life. Prior to his illness and subsequent diagnosis, in addition to teaching at several fitness centers, Victor also taught yoga and and coached one-on-one training sessions at our home. His heart's desire is to work again...
However, our family home has been sold BY the bank TO the bank and we are at imminent risk of eviction. We are doing everything possible to stay in and pay for our home - and although the bank agreed to settle for the total judgment amount, we are unable to procure a loan to meet this need. We are more than willing to make monthly payments or work with a private investor, as the bank will not accept any alternate offers.
However, our family home has been sold BY the bank TO the bank and we are at imminent risk of eviction. We are doing everything possible to stay in and pay for our home - and although the bank agreed to settle for the total judgment amount, we are unable to procure a loan to meet this need. We are more than willing to make monthly payments or work with a private investor, as the bank will not accept any alternate offers.
Moyamoya Disease (MMD) is progressive, incurable, and can be fatal. There is no treatment or cure and only bypass surgery can restore lost blood flow to the brain. Anyone who knows him knows that only an illness as devastating as this could give Victor pause, much less drop him in his tracks.
Victor was forced to stop working in June 2012 due to constant migraines, dizziness, light sensitivity, vertigo and fatigue. In July 2013, he underwent successful brain surgery. However, he still suffers from fatigue, memory loss, mood swings, lack of sequencing and focus, neuralgia and headaches, and disrupted sleep. Although Victor has not received Social Security Disability Insurance to date, a hearing has finally been set for April 28.
The total judgment of $125,390.36 was due by March 1, 2014. We have a temporary reprieve until April 28th so our attorney can prepare this matter for the Appellate Court. During the appeal, there is no way to prevent eviction.
