It sounds like a song, doesn’t it? One day someone will write it. Everyone would listen to it and love it. Instead of dividing us, it brings us together. It would be # 1 on the charts – every chart. There would be Rock versions. There would be Country versions. There would be Instrumentals of all Genres and they would be in high demand for downloads. You know there would be Raves and they would be off the hook! Bands would cover this song and create jams for insatiable fans all over the world.
It is at that time that we shall go to The Canyon Club and see a live performance of this song played by a Rock band that we used to see all the time before all this happened.
But, it needs to be there.
Concert venues have ridiculously small Online revenue, if any.
Concert venues have no Residual income.
Outside Carpool concerts only raise enough to pay the bands a fraction of what they used to make, and the venue/promoter probably breaks even at best.
Concert venue expenses for employees and contractors are 70% of their total cost.
They used to employ 209 people. I think it is less than 10 now.
The best-case scenario is that they can open in the summer of 2021 and we all know that would be limited capacity.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF THERE WERE NO MUSIC VENUES?
We would freak out.
Step up and give big or stay home and be bored and have less music to listen too when bands breakup because they cannot make a wage.
