Time Sensitive Heart Surgery Needed

Donation protected
My nephew Kameron was born on October 21st with a heart defect. He was born in Trinidad W.I. and needs to be transported to the US by Air Ambulance for heart surgery.

The need for this surgery is urgent. We have a 30 day window to work with and each day that passes brings us closer to said window. The services for performing this surgery in Trinidad is limited. We are putting forth our best efforts to ensure Kameron has the chance to live. This will happen if we are successful in bringing him here  to the US for the surgery.

He was born with Pulmonary atresia with ventricular septal defect. In addition he was also diagnosed with Pericardial Effusion. With these complications he needs to have surgery in less than a month in order to live a normal life. Without the surgery he won’t survive. Any contributions towards his life journey will be appreciated.

If you are unable to donate please find the time to pass the link along and continue to share to help us meet this goal.

What is it you may ask?

Pulmonary atresia is type of heart defect that a baby is born with. It occurs when the pulmonary valve — normally located between the right ventricle and the pulmonary artery — doesn’t form properly. This means that blood can’t flow from the heart to the lungs to get oxygen to the body. In some cases, babies with pulmonary atresia may also have a small, or missing, right ventricle that can’t properly pump blood to the lungs.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read, donate or pass along this information!
