Help our WHECES Teacher Mrs. Oberlander

Donation protected
On June 11, Mrs. Diana Oberlander, a third grade teacher at WHECES, suffered a bilateral brain aneurysm. As a result, she spent two weeks in ICU and underwent several surgeries. She was recently released from ICU, which allows her to begin her extensive recovery therapy. To date, Diana has experienced vast improvement with her motor skills, however her memory and verbal comprehension remains impaired. June 25th marked a major milestone, the doctors were able to confirm the Vasospasms (a side effect of the aneurysm) have ceased.

Anyone that has had the privilege of working with Mrs. Oberlander knows of her love for our children goes far beyond her responsibility as a teacher. In addition to the physical challenges imposed by her condition are the financial implications. As a community, we have the opportunity to help alleviate the stress of the extraneous financial expenses the family will incur as a result of her condition. Your generosity will allow her to focus on her recovery. The below website has been established to allow individuals to make donations. The goal is to raise a total of $20,000.
