Please help my dear friends with food and rent

Hi, my name is Anna. I'm a Reformed Christian mother fundraising for a friend of mine who lives in Venezuela. Milagros has been very ill, needed surgery at one point, still needs meds she can't afford. This is a very poor family doing all they can to survive in an unimaginably difficult situation.

Venezuela is a country whose people struggle for the most basic of needs, including food, shelter, and medical care. This family is struggling and in need of all three.

I'm going to let Milagros's friend, Alex, who is also my friend, tell their story. I've known Alex, and through him, Milagros, for several years. He's a kind and loving man, a new believer, who is doing the best he can to help himself and this family. Alex has been studying the Bible, praying for God's will, and seeking a better life. Alex works as he can, jobs and training are hard to come by. But when he can find work, he does it with all his heart. When he can't, he hires himself out for odd jobs. He believes it is his job to provide and he is trying his best.

“My name is Alexander Acevedo and the main reason for this GoFundMe is not only for the possibility to finally get a chance for everyone in this Venezuelan family to keep going, to survive and be healthy as this last thing is being one of the most difficult out of so many issues we’ve been going through for a while; making our lives and efforts so little, and down bad.

Milagros still struggles and is needing help with medication that she hasn't been able to afford.

We’re all fighting and working hard to survive and never give up, but we need your help, everything is getting harder and harder every day for the homeless family we still are.

I’ve done everything that’s in my hands to help and provide.
