Help Mareo with open heart surgery

Hello friends and family!  Here's an update on Mareo's progress!
He's resting and recovering very well! Mareo wants to thank each and every one of you for your kind contributions! To all of the people who are "friends of Bill", he is very very grateful! He sends his love.
His spirits are HIGH! He's walking, eating well, laughing, joking, and excited to get back to life. He's still in pain, but rarely complains. Please know that your contributions are still needed, and please continue to pass along the page to friends and family. All contributions help! Please understand, open heart bypass surgery is a very serious thing. We just lost a beautiful talent in Nelson Ellis this week. He had the same affliction.
Mareo is not "out of the woods", there is still plenty to do. He insists on walking and doing things on his own. He's learning more about cooking, so that he can prepare his own tasty meals. He realizes this is a time for change. All will come in time.

We have done well, yet still there is more to come.  God bless you all!

Mareo has had his share of health issues, yet his spirit always shine bright.
A "happy go lucky" kinda guy, he's generally looking to help cheer things up! Unfortunately while sleeping, he had a mild heart attack.
He works as a fitness trainer, and although not feeling great, still got up for his 6:00 a.m. client. Feeling exhausted, he went home to get some rest, then decided to go to the ER.
With no insurance to cover the costs, he was unsure how this would turn out. Devine intervention stepped in. He was sent through ER at Bellvue hospital. His complaint, "chest pain". The doctors ran test one of which was a catherterization of his heart. Mareo is a healthy looking person, so to their surprise, he had not only had a heart attack, but his main artery leading to his left ventricle was 95% blocked! He was placed in ICU, and told that he would need an emergency "quadruple bypass open heart surgury". As scary as this seems, he remained calm, cracking jokes, making friends with the doctors and staff members. The doctors discovered that he needed five bypasses, instead of four and performed the surgury.
Mareo works as an independent contractor and with no insurance to cover potential costs, no way to earn money, and not much saved, Go Fund me seemed like a solution to help him rebuild his life after this urgent, and unexpected event.
I'm seeking  to raise 150K, as medical costs can range from 100K to 250K to help with medical expences, food, rent, physical therapy, and other expences related to this event. The goal is to raise these funds in 30-90 days.
One thing that Mareo would always talk about is helping others, and his faith in a power greater than himself. One thing that he talked about in the ICU recovery room was praying for the guys across from him that had it much worse, asking god to help them get through it. Mareo needs help now.
Thank you so much and we will keep you posted on his progress!
