URGENT UPDATE:
Plans are quickly moving forward for Marcos sarcoma removal surgery WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21!!!!
Marco's and Marge's current HMO will not allow any further assistance under their current health plan. However, a highly skilled sarcoma specialist at USC has taken on Marcos case and is ready to move forward in this life saving surgery. After many years of past surgeries, radiation, transfusions, and many hospital stays, the price tag is unimaginable and overwhelming to him and his family. This surgery alone will cost over $100,000+ out of pocket, as the insurance will not cover any of the cost.
Many friends and family, and friends of friends have helped so much already. We know its a massive amount and not everyone can give big. If anyone can do a little, it will make a huge impact.
We are sure Marcos still has purpose on this earth and believe in the miraculous and believe in your continued prayers speaking forth those things that are not- as though they are!

This is Marcos Sanchez was diagnosed with Sarcoma over 4 years ago. After 3 surgeries, Marco's was finally able to celebrate a full year cancer free. In a recent CT scan a large rapidly tumor was found.
In April 2019, Marcos bravely underwent his 4th Sarcoma surgery. Blindsided, the tumor was found to have grown too large and was now attached to his stomach, ribs, diaphragm, and part of the lung. The network doctors made the decision not to attempt to remove it due to its complexity.
The Sanchez family (Marcos & Margery) had all along tried to seek a high volume Sarcoma Centers and had previously been denied outside their HMO insurance network. Since time is now urgent and the tumor aggressively continues to grow, they have made the decision again to contact consultants outside their coverage, at one Sarcoma Cancer Centers on the East Coast (Memorial Sloan-Kettering Center in NY) for possible treatment.
Since this is out-of-network, the expenses will be costly and a financial burden on the family. This is now the hope for experienced Sarcoma care they need for treatment of Marcos' liposarcoma.
For those who have read, supported in prayer and positive encouragement for this family's Sarcoma journey, they are now in need of financial support as well.
All contributions are applied to his care, supplemental insurance, deductibles, co-pays, out of pocket expenses for treatments, medical travel, medication and items not covered by insurance.
