Devastating news came when our full-of-life mother, Lety, was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast cancer that metastasized to her lung and bones. Her conventional doctors (at UCSD Moores Cancer Center in San Diego) gave her no hope; told her she was terminal and there was nothing they could do for her. After months of research and carefully considering her options, our mom decided to cure her cancer with natural medicine. She has been boosting her immune system and activating her body's own ability to heal itself by doing Dr. Max Gerson’s therapy. Which is an all organic vegetarian diet, including 13 fresh organic raw juices per day, nutritional immunotherapy, and natural supplements. Dr. Max Gerson’s therapy, is able to reverse a myriad of chronic conditions including, what many conventional doctors consider to be "terminal cancer". In addition to The Gerson Therapy, she has added costly advanced immunological therapies that have proven to stimulate the immune system and increase clinical outcomes. Because her treatments are natural, rather than conventional, her medical insurance will not cover her doctors visits/follow-ups, monthly blood work, CAT/CT scans, treatments, supplements and medical supplies.
We have made two trips to Mexico and stayed a total of 4 weeks at Gerson clinics, which has cost us $20,000...in addition to the cost of her advanced therapies and supplements. We have one more trip pending in about 2 months for a final session of her Dendritic Cell Therapy, which is $8,250 for three treatments. We have finished two treatments and need $2,750 for her final one. Along with Dendritic Cell and other immunological therapies, she is doing a protein therapy, which is costing us $2,200 every other month.
My sister Monica, and I (Lucy) have been supporting her financially with most of her monthly therapy expenses. However, the metastasized cancer to her bones has left her in need of 24hr care. I recently resigned from my stable career in SD to moved in and care for her. My husband is commuting to two hours each way daily to & from work. Without my previous income, we have been left with minimal financial support. Though nothing is impossible with God, it has been extremely challenging. We ask for your financial support so that we are able to continue these therapies.
As of now, her immune system is strong and the therapies are working just as we hoped. However, the fully reconstruction of her immune system to cure her aggressive cancer long term takes a minimum of a two year commitment on the Gerson Therapy. She is eight months into the therapy and we have already exhausted our funds, including a second she took out on her home.
She is full of life, smiles, and laughs...even during this challenging time. She is a gracious gift from God, who has touched many. She has always been a giver...not a receiver. Anyone who knows her would agree 100%. She is determined to win this battle. It's not a matter of "if" for her, it's a matter of "when"…(God willing).
