Hello everyone,
My name is Jeremy Stewart, but you can call me Hobby, a name I carry proudly in honor of my grandfather, Eugene Hobby, my idol. As a 2008 graduate of BHS, I had the privilege of being a standout football player, earning 2nd Team All-Federal League honors as a WR, KR, and PR Specialist. My journey continued with the WPA Wildcatz in minor-league football, where I broke multiple records.
In 2020, my life took a dramatic turn when I was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver, a condition I had since birth but remained undetected. After years of battling this illness, I am incredibly grateful to share that I received my liver transplant!
While this is a significant step forward, the recovery process has been challenging. Being down for so long has taken a toll on my finances, and I find myself in need of support as I continue to heal. I am committed to staying strong for my children and my wife, and I appreciate any help you can offer during this time.
To help cover the expenses associated with my recovery, I have started this GoFundMe campaign.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a tremendous difference for my family and me. If you can’t donate, sharing this message on social media would be a great help.
Thank you for your generosity and support. Together, we can get through this.
Hobby Strong Forever.
