Everyone meet Dryden,
Dryden was born July 18th, 2012 with a condition called Spina Bifida, which is a birth defect that affects the spinal cord... This rare condition has left this little guy partially paralyzed from the waist down...
Despite all of the trials and tribulations he's had to endure in his short life, Dryden rolls through it all with a infectious laugh!
Dryden received his first wheelchair a ZipZap and while it has been phenomenal in helping him explore his new world, like everything when your a kid, sadly, he very quickly outgrowing it!
Dryden's mom Kellee, was inspired by Team Box rider Abel Rose, his VERY early start into the sport of WCMX and was also highly interested in his custom made Box Wheelchair. She wants to start Dryden off on the right footing, by getting her little boy sized up for this very special chair!
This specialized wheelchair is custom made to order for the child and is specifically designed to help maximize their performance and ability to explore their world for themselves!... A world free of limitation!
Unfortunately these types of chairs are not covered under insurance, so we are hoping to raise $2500 to pay for it outright... Whether $1 or $100, no donation is too small and every little bit is a great help for us in reaching our goal, every donation is appreciated!
This chair is so much more than just a medical instrument for getting from point A to B... It allows them to push their limits in new and different ways, because they are no longer bound by the design limitations of their equipment. In their mind, their wheelchair becomes a tool of empowerment, instead of a limiting necessity!
